Frequent questions about booking process
How does the payment process work?
The first payment which, is 50% of the rental fee, taxes, and cleaning, is due at time of booking. The balance and the $800 damage deposit are due 45 days prior to arrival. Please see rates page for details.
Can I pay with more than one credit card?
Yes, but you need to contact me so we can send you separate invoices. The invoices will come from the VRBO/Homeaway company.
Can you holds dates for me?
No I am sorry we do not hold dates, all bookings are on a first-come, first serve-basis. Please review our policy page.
Do I need to sign a rental contract?
No signature is required but you are electronically agreeing to one during the booking process, please be sure to read it thoroughly. Review our policy page as well.
I need a receipt to turn in for work can you provide it?
Yes, we can provide you with a receipt.

What are check-in and checkout times? Check-in is at 3 pm, and checkout is at 11 am.
Can I get a early check-in or late check out? It depends on the situation and whether or not another guest is before or after you. We cannot guarantee any early check-in or late checkout due to the possibility of a last minute booking. We always try to accommodate reasonable requests.
Can I drop off my bags before check in? - We can usually accommodate this request because the maids are in the home but you need to confirm we us prior to arrival.
How do I check-in? We have the check-in procedure automated, there is an electronic lock on the front door which has a unique code good only during your stay. You can even program quickly to an easy to remember number like the last 4 digits of your cell phone. The garage door opener will be on the kitchen counter. This will make your stay much easier because you will not need to worry about keys. Your code will start working at 3 pm the day of your arrival and stop at 11 am the day of your departure.
When will my damage deposit be refunded?
All damage deposits will be returned within 3 days of checkout, please note that it takes a few days after you receive the email from VRBO/Homeaway for the funds to show up on your card.
What happens if there is damage?
If something is broken we ask that you notify us immediately. We will be fair in dealing with you. If we find damage we will document it with photos etc. It is important to understand your liability is not limited to the $500 deposit, if serve damage is done you could be held responsible for lost revenue in addition to damage.
All bookings are done through VRBO, Homeaway or Vacationrentals.com. These sites are all owned by the same company: thus it does not matter which one you book the home through. You can use the below to book through VRBO.
